Guidelines for Abstract Submission
ABSTRACT: One
page with all affiliations and keywords.
Abstracts should have the
title of the paper, name(s) and affiliation(s) of the author(s), and keywords
(3-6 keywords). The abstract including the keywords and affiliations should not
exceed one page.
The abstract should
contain the following sections:
Objectives: In
30 words.
Methods/Statistical
analysis:
It should be 70 words. Include the method
adapted to study the objectives/sampling details or simulation or statistical analysis
of data; technique employed; mention unique/ important points of modification
of methodology in the current study. Mention about test samples the control
employed or approach used for comparing the test sample.
Findings:
It should be 170 words. Mention
your findings in the form of statements along with the conclusive data of
statistical importance; Mention how your findings are unique and novel; how
your findings are in consensus with the existing values/reports or how
different are they from the already reported findings. Highlight how your
results are helpful in adding more value to the existing reports.
Application/Improvements: In
30 words.
Keywords: 5-6
words, Drawn from title, Word
representing the work.
Review Process and
Notification
All abstracts will be
reviewed using four criteria:
Originality
Clarity
Rigour
Practical relevance
These reviews will be
passed on to the Organising Committee, which will
make final decision. Notification of acceptance or rejection of abstract
submitted will be sent to you through email.
Guidelines for Paper Submission
Full paper submitted to NRCMB 2015 must comply with the following guidelines:
- Word Limit: All manuscripts must be submitted in MS Word format and have a word maximum limit of 4,000 to 6,000 words, excluding references, tables and figures.
- Abstract: Article(s) must be submitted with an abstract of not more than 300 words. Abstract should be in Time New Roman italics and justified with 12 point font size and 2.5 inches margin on both sides. Provide 3-5 keywords after the abstract for indexing purposes. Author(s) affiliation should be shown in the footnote of the page.
- Title: The title of the paper should not be more than 15 words.
- Format of Title Page: The font size of the title of the paper on the ‘title page’ should be Times New Roman 14 point bold. Author(s) name(s) will appear after 6 spaces of the title of the paper, followed by abstract Times New Roman 12 point italic.
- Paper Size and Margins: Manuscript must be written in A4 paper size. There should be a 2.54 cm (or 1 inch) margin in all pages throughout the manuscript.
- Line Spacing: Throughout manuscript is to be 1.5 spaced (including references).
- The Font: ‘Times New Roman’ is to be used throughout the manuscript. For text, use 12 points and Word 2003 format for heading styles.
- Headings: Avoid using more than three level headings.
- Headers and Footers: No header or footer is to be included in the manuscript.
- Page Numbering: Manuscript should be page numbered in footer on the middle of the page in Times New Roman with a font size 12.
- Figures, Tables, and Texts: These are not to be colored or shaded. Figures or tables should NOT break across two pages. All tables should be fitted within the margin and titles of the tables should be centered.
- References: These are to be provided at the end in alphabetical order and with 1cm hanging indent, using American Psychological Association (APA) version 6 style of referencing and citation system.
